Eric, that's baffling. "Buck" would seem to have no anti-GPRS ax to grind, and you approve his credentials on messaging. He specifically states in the summary to his MMS whitepaper tnat quality of MMS service is compromised by the capacity constraints within the GPRS main traffic channel that will carry MMS data--as opposed to the parallel channel that carries SMS data. He looks to 3G to provide high quality MSM service. You look to minimal transfer of optimized data on GPRS. Wonder what Seybold might say.
