It's called a business cycle rich. Businesses are adjusting to a worldwide economic slowdown. The internet economy crashed from it's speculative heights, and took a lot of the economy with it. Greenspan also misjudged inflationary fears and jacked up interest rates at the wrong time. Throw in 9/11 and the huge effect travel has on the economy, and these things happen.

The good news is Bush moved us in the right direction before the worst of it hit us. I wish he would have cut taxes more dramatically then he did, but the stimulus effect should help the economy recover.

I understand...Democrats worst fear is the economy will recover. Hence, Dashle and his disgusting tactics.
