I don't usually walk away from a little battle but I sure as Hell ain't gonna go "over there" just to look for one !! <gg> I guess I can cancel my doctor's appointment for Thursday now. YOU, Dr. Salty, have likely explained why my ears have been ringing so much for the last few days !!! Hey, that was all a whole lot of fun for me. I just regret that some\many\all(??) of those thoughts and predictions proved inaccurate. But, the ELH Temblor is clearly not just a "conventional" deep play, not by any stretch of the imagination !! Even the almighty APC is, shall we say, "having some fun" with it !! And so today, BKP remains the only company to have successfully completed a deep Temblor well for commercial production ... such as it is\was.
I'm certainly richer for a few cyberfriends that I made as a result of ELH. I'm also gratified by how much a couple of ELH threadsters were able to pick up and learn about the oil industry during the whole process. That made both the time and effort worthwhile and rewarding. But, Salty, I'm a bit slighted that you failed to mention the huge (to me) financial "contribution" that I also made to ELH beneficiaries unknown !! Oh well, just another couple of years or so and I think that even "she" might soften up and start talking to me again. <gg> Thank goodness that I had a grand slam on my NYMEX NG strip so that I can at least "use" all my ELH losses !! [As an aside, it looks to me like we are now getting very, very close to a great buying point for the summer strip. What do you think, maybe another 10 days or so to the bottom ?? Then just a few months until hurricane season starts (and hopefully an economic turnaround, too) ??]
It is good to see some familiar "faces" showing up here again. I suspect, from that alone, that something is about to happen in ELH !! I'm betting that it'll be Check that bears the breaking news.
Best of luck to all those still "participating". When the APC\OXY litigation eventually gets resolved I may jump back in again. But, until then, I'll just shut up and lurk to monitor "progress".
BTW, are you following the local Whiskey Creek play ?? They finally got to TD on the second well and have pulled their first log suite. I understand that the rather large drilling cost over-run won't matter much now !!! <gg>
