Petz: Is a 2400 MHz NW before April really that difficult for Intel?

Assuming Intel could supply good volume across all >2GHz speed bins from their current .13µm production, they probably could launch a 2.4GHz.

But why would they want to?

Sure, it would hurt AMD, but unlike said company, Intel doesn't generally pull a kamikaze. Think of all the .18µm P4s that will continue to make up the bulk of Intel's P4 shipments for many months. What value would they have if Intel were to launch a 2.4GHz P4 processor?
