If AA had done their job responsibly and reported the facts correctly on ENE then ENE might have survived. The fact that AA is incompetent has hurt HAL stock. However if you enjoy riding around in Corvairs, Edsels, Mavericks,and other classes of American Junk stick with AA. >>> ? Its the corporate culture of AA that got them into this mess. When I see evidence of at AA I will retract my statements. AA gets to testify to some congressional committees in the next few days. Its their greed and incompetence that will win them that dubious distinction. Do you think that the FBI and the congressional investigators are going to say. "Its OK boys, go back to work and keep up the bad job so many more Americans can lose their jobs and you can get your bonus checks and contribute to our re-election efforts"...Is that what you think pal....???? On SI or YAHOO stupidity, greed and incompetence of auditing firms should be fully recognized....Authur Anderson is in first place and your defense will not save them.
