I don't understand the market valuation. There's goodwill about equal to stockholder's equity, more debt than equity, and a market cap the company thought was too low at $100 billion. Most mergers don't work, and Dennis Kozlowski claims 20% organic growth?

But, I was surprised to see, on page 37 of 47 pages of subsidiaries, that Tyco owns good pieces of Dell's finance subs: Dell Credit Company LLC (50%), and Dell Financial Services L.P. (30%)

Maybe $35 billion, or $17 to $18 per share, within 13 months.
