You may rail about Clinton all you wish, but one of the ways that people discover the kind of information you allege to be true is through the Freedom of Information Act, which Ashcroft has virtually overturned. Bush has also put Presidential papers off limits forever. Then there is the Cheney thing, which will not go away. These are the secrecy issues that will become campaign issues, regardless of whether any collusion is shown between Bush and ENE. It is the appearance of having something to hide that gets people like you riled up--especially if it involves Clinton--and rightly so. I would be perfectly happy to learn that there is no connection between Enron and the Bush energy policy, but verbal assurances are not enough anyway, regardless of who's in the White House.
