jw: You are right about RICO... It doesn't matter who Mr. Lay knows now...I don't care if he has one of Clinton's former lawyers defending him -- Bob Bennett will not get him out of this hole. The lawyer leading this lawsuit on the behalf of Enron employees is not doing this for the money...He loves the hunt and has quite a track record when it comes to making guilty parties pay...(<<Steve Berman represented 13 states in lawsuits against the tobacco industry that resulted in the largest settlement in the history of litigation. Berman also served as counsel in several other high-profile cases including the Washington Public Power Supply litigation, which resulted in a settlement exceeding $850 million>>)...Watch out Ken Lay, Andy Fastow, Jeff Baby Skilling --> none of your ASSets will be safe...All 4 of Mr. Lay's Aspen homes may have to be sold...and i feel so sorry for him. Actually, I have a hunch he has offshore accounts (in places like the Caymans or Switzerland) -- sort of like Enron did <G>....The only worry with Lay is that he'll try to flee the country in one of his private jets...and then of course he'll want a pardon a few years down the line...We should be watching this guy like a hawk -- I still can't believe the Enron Directors are letting him run the company as its being liquidated.
