Watching the Senate Budget Committee hearings with Dan Crippen, CBO Director, is quite interesting. Four Trillion Dollars from the projected surplus a year ago are gone.
That's right... $4 Trillion in one year under the Bush administration are gone!! Let's hear it for more tax cuts for the top one percent and giving back the surplus to the top one percent. Maybe the Bush buddies at Enron have got it or is it going in part to the Bush/Cheney buddies in the defense industry who are building the 21st century Maginot Line?

Btw, Hilliary has been quite impressive in this hearing and the RWET types need to worry about her future occupancy of the White House (after Daschle). Even the NY Post is eating crow about her positive contributions to NY and the country as a senator.
