if you look at the Inquirer's roadmap, he shows in Q2 than AMD only advances 133 raw MHz to an XP 2200+, while Intel advances to 2.4 GHz. That would make the differential greater than 533 MHz; perhaps JS's promise was only for Q1?

If JS's promise has any relation to what will actually happen in reality I expect that it doesn't mean that Intel will never gain slightly more then a 533mhz advantage meerly that anything more then that for the next year or so (anything later then that being to far out to tell) but rather that any gain beyond that wont be for very long. Of course even assuming 100% honesty and a conservative outlook from Jerry (and how many people want to bet money on Jerry's predictions being conservative?) I wonder how he can know how well Intel is going to execute.
