I hear you. Nothing inherently wrong with risk-taking, of course. That is what capitalism is all about. But disclosure is not optional if the system is to work. It's a pity that SEC granted ENE a waiver from filing as a holding company, which would have required much more detailed disclosure and which might have caused them to act more cautiously.
