Razorback...thanks... you are correct..... The biggest crime of Arthur Anderson is that they destroyed confidence in our American stock Market. Even if a person owned no Enron or Halliburton....the heavy weight of the Arthur Anderson disclosures impacted the entire market.

Did not chain saw Al and AA have to pay a hefty fine in the Sunbeam case?

The problems with Arthur Anderson have not been a one time thing, as Dave's inputs have suggested. The people at Anderson's will be the first to say that they have done nothing illegal...that they are the G Gordon Liddy's of the accounting world is not something to be proud about. If you as an individual or corporation sell your reputation, ...then what is left...garbage...
