Mish -- can you do me a favor? Tell me what products INTC is going to buy with their Capex money. Tell me what percentage of KLAC's revenue comes from Intel. Tell me if KLAC products are bought for new semi plants coming on line or if they are bought to upgrade existing plants. Tell me how the industry move to 300mm impacts KLAC as opposed to, say KLIC or AMAT or NVLS.

Not all semi equipment makers are created equal nor are they in the "same" business, per se. KLAC may be wildly overvalued (I wouldn't buy it), but I am quite sure that their CEO knows more about their business and prospects than you do. Also, I wouldn't call KLAC's forward projections particularly bullish -- merely that the worst has passed.

I'd like to know why you're calling the KLAC leadership liars. So please see if you can answer my questions above before simply responding "Capex is being cut, so KLAC business must be worse. It's obvious." Again, this has nothing to do with stock price. . . merely with your assertations.

Thanks,

the freep
