What an interesting comment: *It would help my case" if I found some data for you. Such data may or may not be available; if I could think of who and what institution would find it worthwhile to cull thru deed records to get the information, I'd suggest some possible sources for you to do your own research.

(1) The National Association of Realtors doesn't sell every home in America, so they don't have such figures.

(2) The mortgage guys probably aren't going to publish much about all-cash sales and probably don't waste time caring about them.

(3) That leaves *WHO?* to spend the time looking?

My friend, I have no interest in making a case, except suggesting to those who seem perplexed that home prices are going higher as to why that might be . What people do with their own money is their business. Good luck.
