CYMER ANNOUNCES WEBCAST OF FOURTH QUARTER CONFERENCE CALL SAN DIEGO, Calif., January 23, 2002 – Cymer, Inc. (Nasdaq NM: CYMI), the world’s leading supplier of excimer light sources used in semiconductor manufacturing, today announced that the company will provide a live audio webcast with a slide presentation to discuss fourth quarter results on Tuesday, February 5, 2002 at 2:00 p.m. PST. The live Webcast will be available on Cymer’s Website at www.cymer.com, and a recording of the Webcast will be available via the Internet for fifteen days after the conference call.
