What I was saying is if you rent and take the difference in capital one spent on home ownership you would be ahead financially.

Again I was talking about alternative investments with the capital differences between ownership and renting. Home ownership is not an income producing asset!!!!!! If had taken the capital difference between home ownership and renting and bought more farm land in North Dakota would have a heck of a lot more income producing assets that generate income each and every year for the next 1000 years. <g>
