Hi Jane, I actually made money on the original OVIS run back in ..... was it 1997 or 1998 ? I was like the week before Labor Day.

Funny -- every time I mention a stock scam (like ENE) to my 15 year old son -- he says it reminds him of OVIS, lol.

What do FAMH and OVIS/RMIL have in common ? I'll tell ya. I call it "The Big Lie".

OVIS's investment premise was based on the belief that there was a huge "naked short" position held by the MMs. But very early on, during one of the "share roll calls", it was clear that JUST THE SI THREAD POSTERS owned more shares than were reported to be in the float. Yet these posters, no matter how many times it was mentioned, could not grasp that this was impossible -- but obviously OVIS/RMIL was printing shares.

FAMH -- I still remember reading Doug R.'s "56 Point TA" thread when I saw Cheryl OD's post: "FAMH -- eleven cent stock earning .18 per year !!" The FAMH lies were pretty big and obvious. I never bought a single share. Poor "Little Engine". So much abuse for trying to point out the obvious.

lol

Of course -- there's Pets.com -- "Its ok to have an advertising budget greater than our ANNUAL REVENUES !!"

I'm sure a bunch of people believed that too.

Chris
