Solon, I agree with you. Every thread represents a "community" of some kind. Presumably people participate in the community because of some aspect of common interest. Just like choosing friends, you can choose or not choose to listen to someone's opinions by the IGNORE feature. If everybody on the thread chooses to ignore somebody, then effectively they are no longer a part of the "community". But that result is based on individual decisions. Anything beyond that is SUPPRESSION of speech, on the part of a few towards the many. That is happening quite widely in America now under the false cloak of "Patriotism". It should be opposed everywhere it is found. Namaste! Jim
