Ibexx: Thanks for the article. I think we have a real disconnect here. It appears that AOL wants to dictate how MSFT writes and employs its browser code to accommodate the closed system of AOL. How many web sites tell us that if you are on AOL you have to do a bunch work arounds to get to them. I do not think that is the fault of MSFT as the message from the site is always directed at AOL users. Also AOL has steadfastly refused legal access to AOL Messenger. Now MSFT has demonstrated that they can get into that network with no problem but AOL has repeatedly gone to the courts to enjoin MSFT from doing so under some privacy BS. With respect to TW cable indeed they could keep MSFT off their broadband but the same could be said of Comcast of which MSFT is a big owner. I think if the judge has any savvy at all he/she will see how AOL wants to have its cake and eat it as well wit no quid pro quo extended to MSFT. Just in case there is a smart enough judge out there who can see this manipulation by AOL, AOL is taking a chance of soiling their own nest here. I really am amazed at how these points are constantly ignored by the courts.

By the way how much cash does TW/AOL have on its books. This really may not be the game for them to be playing as their earnings prospects according to Parsons do not look good for the next 18 mos. JFD
