STOCKHOLDERS MEETING HIGHLIGHTS: June 27, 1997, 17 million share voted "FOR" the following changes: 1). The appointment of Hein & Associates LLP, CPA's as the new auditors of the company. 2).Elected Don Farrell, Garvin McMinn, Elwood Trotter & David Maginnis as Directors for the ensuing year. 3). Authorized the Directors to amend and grant stock options. 4). Approval to amend the Certificate of Incorporation of the Company with the issuing of 100,000,000 shares of capital stock at a par value of .001 per share.
The meeting outline the focus for the company throughout the remainder of this year and into the 1998 year. Garvin McMinn, President of AIRP, showed and reinforced the positive changes in corporate status. His presentation had three main focus points. Focus #1-Industry perception of the AIR BOX product line, Focus #2-Plant capacities to meet current demand and future demand for the AIR BOX product line and Focus#3- Market strategy with emphasis on the Silicon Valley, CA, USA.
Elwood Trooter, Vice-President of Special projects, explained "WHY" it has taken so long for MOTOROLA to purchase more product from AIRP. Motorola tested and re-tested our product for the past three years for their "NEW" generation of semicondutor chips and wafers. He further explained that there has been an increase in orders for the SDS AIR BOX since Motorola started to produce and ship this "New Generation chips" in the last Qtr.1996 and first 1/2 of 1997. He informed the shareholders that AIR PACKAGING TECHNOLOGIES, Inc. has and will continue to have a "SPIKE" in demand for the SDS AIR BOX from Motorola.
Bruce Hotmer, the New V.P. of Marketing/Sales, introduced the sale focus and force for AIRP. He eloquently showed how the company is marketing and selling the AIR BOX product line. Mr. Hotmer utilized an effective overhead slide presentation which outline eight key marketing elements for current and on-going success: 1). Understand the Markets needs-Which AIR BOX for which Industry. 2) Understand industries processes-How is packaging done in different industries 3) Develop product for an industry-Can we 'HELP'(Example the New Dental Lab AIR BOX). 4) Know leaders of an Industry-Who and Where are the Major Manufactures for a particular industry. 5) Customer Associations-Efficiently utilize trade organizations and publications to further recognition of AIRP's products. 6) Industrial applications and standards- Reinforce the "HOW" the AIR BOX will surpass an industry's current methods of packaging(i.e., Reliable, Reusable, Recycles,Reduction-cost/breakage.) 7) Build on our Success- We are the packaging medium of choice for Motorola-Use this success to be the packaging medium of choice for the seimcondutor industry!!!
Currently, 85% of the marketing focus will be on the semicondutor industry in Silicon Valley. The marketing team has establish two major pilot projects with two major silicon wafer manufacturers. AIRP has the confidence, that within 8-10 weeks, that a major sales announcement could be forthcoming after a successful completion of the pilot programs.
Don Farrell, Director, reinforced his financial commitment. He will continue to provide operational capital as need until the company becomes self-sufficient. He thank the support of all shareholders. Mr. Farrell own 20% of AIRP.
Shareholders left the meeting felling more confident about the direction and management of AIRP. The company has and will continue to generate more sales throughout 1997 with a focused and cost conciencesion management team.
