If the load only drew 0.3kw, then 4.2kw going into the "machine". 4.9kw at 48v = 93.75A for a 300w load requiring only 300w48V 6.25A.

To someone who skipped every tech or science related course on the way to receiving a BA in fine arts, this makes a lot of sense. The rest of us must be missing something.
