Hey Archie

How's it going? Just back from my vacation and happy to see that we're living long on iomega (I'll leave the prospering for next week). Iomega is standing well in the midst of a market wide selloff these last five days. Percentagewise, its done better than seagate and other disk drive makers. Looking foward to next week's iomega earnings. Other drive maker earnings reports would also affect iomega. If my memory serves me right, Seagate reports next Tuesday and off course, there is the Intel earnings.

The market was simply waiting for an excuse to plummet and Motorola and HP simply provided the excuse. Iomega was simply a bystander wounded by the barrage of selling. Iomega's fundamentals have not deteriorated and with the HMT conference call info on the JAZ, Iomega's fundamentals have only become better.

Remember the marketing partners that KE talked about during the PC Expo press conference. Next week? maybe. I'm also interested to hear how internal zips on the HPs sold in this past quarter, it being the only gauge of zip acceptance at the PC point of sales level.
