My thoughts as posted on another thread: "Are you listening to this drivel from the ENE/Andersen hearing? "violated trust of investors, blah, blah, undermining market confidence, blah, blah, patterns of deceit, blah, blah" What the hell? Couldn't the very same thing be said for the brokerage houses that recommended crud.com's at 10,000 times sales and market caps of $100 Billion plus with no profit in sight or ever generated? HOW IS IT that these sorts of crooks get a blind eye turned their way, yet the accountant takes the heat for "audit risk"? Where is the criminal investigation into the fleecing of investors by the brokerage houses in the ipo's and dotbombs? Where is the Congressional panel on that? Where is the SEC? ENE pales in comparison to the just as real thefts perpetrated in the ipo's and dotbomb pumping. But the Brokerage Pimps obviously have the Government's approval to steal and cheat."
