That's not a caveat, that's my logic.

Remember, no matter whether their ideas work or not, investment bankers still get their fee.

And even though AMD shareholders have continually lost money on a real basis over the years, somehow Sanders keeps getting his "fee". Heck, he'd be the greatest investment banker ever. Most bankers have to have a good idea every now and then to keep getting deals. Sanders keeps his deal even though AMD has never gotten anywhere.
