Of course issuing debt is not a bad thing. I didn't pay cash for my house. Geat leverage thing that turned out to be, that mortgage loan, on a Silicon Valley house. But, there are many ways to buy something, like a piece of a fab or fab space, which may be what AMD is doing. My point was that the way they are doing it possibly dilutes earnings by possibly raising the number of shares outstanding. Intel, OTOH, may have used up some cash for such a deal, which doesn't dilute anything like earnings. Also, Mr. Market seems to not AMD's approach, and if I'm a stockholder, I don't like that.
