No one is questioning whether the treatment is humane or not. In fact, no one in the world community expects the treatment to be anywhere near kind. But there is an international protocol, that United States is a signatory to, that GWB administration is trying to circumvent. Why have a Geneva Convention, or any convention for that matter, if you have no intention of abiding by what you agree to.
