I really don't see the Verisign/IBM deal having much of an effect on Certicom. IBM is basically turning away from their own PKI and is going sell Verisign instead. Just based on what I'm seeing and hearing, wireless PKI is not taking off yet. On another note, in the RSA earnings conference call today, the CEO stated that they had indeed ousted Certicom from Palm, and that the BSAFE toolkit will be used to provide security in all future Palm handhelds.
