Joe, a quick addition from amd.com : At the initial conversion price, each $1,000 principal amount of Debentures will be convertible into approximately 43 shares of the company’s common stock. The initial conversion price represents a 40% premium over the last reported sale price of the company’s common stock on January 23, 2002, which was $16.70 per share. 500 * 43 shares gives 21,500 shares.
