Too bad we don't have anybody on the thread who knows anything about it.... We've never let that stop us on any other subject before. :-) To maybe answer your last question, the real estate market here in SIlicon Gulch is definitely cyclical. A few years ago sellers got multiple bids on their property. Now it takes many months to get one. The high end of the market ($1,000,000+ here) was booming. Now it's a desert. Apartments were scarce and drew bids. Now rental rates are collapsing and and owners are offering incentives to renters. And this is just another turn of the wheel. Anybody who has been here any length of time has seen it before. But how can you know nothing about real estate? You don't own? You don't rent? Do you live under a bridge? :-)
