Enron's used money to gain access! And Enron wasn't the
biggest contributor to the Bush machine. Yet,
the beliefs of "Kenny Boy, W and Poppy Bush about
energy policies have been mutually shared
over many years. Friendship and Enron's campaign
donations have cemented the Bush-Enron
relationship, too.
Eventually, I hope that the public will understand
the connection. Congress is not immune either.
Enron's money and the money from other big business
is spread all over Washington.
Until Enron, I never realized how much power
was invested in the accountant. As a member of the Congressional panel pointed out today, it was
an accountant, at Arthur Anderson, and not a lawyer,
who made the decision to destroy documents.
