I vehemently disagree with this. Our entire team has been working 7 days a week, 16 hours a day for the past 2 months, and will continue to do so for the next few months (ok, I took a halfday on July 4th :-). And there are a number of teams at MS that are working this hard. The top three concerns raised at every weekly meeting are: (1) how long will this take for a user to run at 14.4k, (2) does it work with both IE3.0 and Netscape? and (3) will we make the ship date?

Anyways, I think we were getting fat and lazy 1 year ago, Netscape has thrown down the gauntlet and personally I hate to lose. With the fierce competition between the majors (NSCP, SUNW, MSFT, INTC, ORCL, etc) the big winner is the consumer.

Congrats on the short btw :), i actually bought some Aug calls on SUNW today. Hope things look brighter tomorrow.
