Cordilleran Roundup 2002 - Vancouver, Canada, January 22-25 Hotel Vancouver.

Visted the War Eagle mining booth at this Year's well attended Cordilleran Roundup. Was pleasantly surprised to see the booth was hosted by Archer Cathro, the geological consulting company hired by War Eagle to undertake last summer's exploration project on the Mac Tantalum claims. The geologist who led the exploration team explained to me the enormous potential significance of the tantalum enriched dyke swarms running throughout the property. The scope of the discovery is enormous and this season's drill program could establish the Mac property as one of the world's premier tantalum properties. In addition he mentioned the dykes also hosted what appears to very economic deposits of lithium (The lithium assays are still underway but should be released in the near future ). The booth also contained excellent photographs of the visible dyke swarms snaking across the property, leaving little doubt as to the magnitude of the find.

I realize my post is gushing and must appear self-serving; however, upon visiting with the geologist who did the work and witnessing his enthusiasm first hand, I feel justified in making such optimistic observations.
