In 1994 I had an oppurtunity to own 5% of Datek through Shelly, flew in to NY and he offered to buy my BD, he showed me his ridiculous sports pager system and I then balked. I guess I will never know what could have been. But regarding this newest developement , you can blame the , in my opinion , criminal enterprise known as the NASD, for allowing them to get off so easy DATEK is needed by the NASD they comprise a huge part of their budget, and teh NASD isnt about to bite the hand that feeds them unless they use billy bob teeth.
