Patricia, I love America, but sometimes if you can project yourself out into the Cosmos and look down and watch the actions of the peoples in the world.........and then you hear a President stand up.......and say I don't understand why we are hated by other countries and people.....you realize that when you are surrounded by Nationalistic bunk and propaganda all the time it is real hard to be objective about your real behavior grade as a nation. The others look at us and say there goes America bullying it's way around. It is like we think we deserve to gobble up all the energy in the world and pollute the atmosphere and spy and use devious methods whenever and the rest the world is supposed to America is just doing it's job. Our grade is at best a C right now in world affairs and that is generous. Currently, everyone, including China is scared stiff waiting and hoping for a more gentler kinder America to return. They all know we are chomping at the bit to kick someone else's behind and no one is going stick their head out. Saddam is in big trouble even if he does nothing, and Somalia is still likely the next target.
