whoops on '69- I don't know why they say the secular top was in '66- it looks more like it was in '72 to me.. At least in terms of the SPX. stockcharts.com 73-74 Bear ended at the same green line it nearly touched in Sept.- so the best comparison is probably 1975- 3 yrs. after the MARKET topped.
