as I have also Metastock 5.0, which is at least a Windows program and similar enough to 6.0, I suppose, that I could help you set up the system test.
The *.dop files are not necessary, you can delete them. When you want to copy an item from one directory to another, you will get an error indicated, but you can ignore it.
I shall buy Tradestation soon.
