Not sure what his name is but his comment was that buying QCOM was like betting against NOK. Interviewer asked which he would do and he said NOK was the only way to go. No mention at all about IPR income or anything of the sort. Brilliant!!!

I disagree with his conclusion....but he did understand the short-term story.

Nokia might have sold as many as 2 million CDMA handsets during the last quarter (and they sold at least 1.5 million). If Qualcomm had shipped an extra 2m chipsets, the quarter would have looked really damn good.

One of the keys for this CY is getting that marketshare back.
