When my daughter was playing AAU basketball I was appalled at the parents at these tournaments. UFB!!! I have a friend who coached 7th grade girls for years that has said to hell with it. Threats of violence, calls at home at all hours sometimes from drunks after bar closing, etc. It's no wonder that many kids don't know how to behave with the examples they get from pro athletes and their parents.
