Bob, for me it is 'but there is no wind'.

Seldom blows more than a breeze here, which compared to where I came from is real nice. When it is cold here it is usually dead calm. It always blows up on the slope, and it makes it real miserable, MO.

But when it gets -40 F and lower it is still pretty darn cold. Seems like the amount of heat the house requires goes up exponentially. The cold just seeps in.

Put my new Blazeking in the basement. First time I started it temp was about -30 F. Wouldn't draw. Air was so heavy outside it came down the pipe. So I had to put an electric heater inside it for about an hour, to warm up the stove and pipe.

Been here 3 yrs now. Haven't had a real prolonged cold snap yet, like -40/-60 for about a month. Haven't had much snow either. Plenty of rain in the summer though, compared to normal.

Liking the PM action today myself. The dollar was down last night, until the European bourses opened. The negatives in tech weighed the Euro markets down. What a market of late. What a load of global problems, everywhere.
