wanna_bmw, re: I was still under the impression that it was much less than 10%. Anything even close to 10% is a huge market. And, no I don't keep those figures - but those Linux machines keep showing up in the computer room at this company. re: However, none of their IA-64 builds have reached that "Gold" status that would prompt a serious business to consider them. Microsoft at least has a tangible market share in the enterprise segment, so such a "gold" release would be quite beneficial for raising Itanium demand. I think it could be said the Itanium itself hasn't reached that "gold" status either.
