I recently signed on to VZ for a year of service. As they offer better and better deals for the same money, I 're enlist' and push out my year of service for a few more months. So churn is being reduced for the likes of me.

I can see VZ and the others offering what Bosstl was talking about in the future...namely discounts via wireless that can come off my bill in the future as I redeem the 'cupons'. No doubt this will extend my 'year contract' even farther as I 're-up' once again to take advantage of the offers.

I see where VZ is fighting the push to resist letting telephone numbers stay with the person instead of the carrier. Who knows if they will be successful but since I use my cell phone as my business line, I would not be likely to change carriers after the year if I had to give away my telephone number. (no telephone books presently list cell telephone numbers).

Man did anyone watch VRSN after hours? Earnings came out and the stock went from 34 to high 38's only to fall as low as 31 once the cc started....bring back memories?

I feel INSP worked itself through most of that kind of mess in many previous cc's and is ready to show good solid metric performance.

Like dropping the .com from the name...I think INSP beat many others to the 'new accounting and reporting' methods. Time will tell...
