Hi to Pam and All - I've been away and had been hoping to get to you guys before that annotated page went up, but . . . honest, lurkers and others, what they say about me never happened! I was the picture of dignity and decorum . . . well . . . for a Northern Californian, that is.
It was a great afternoon and fun to really meet the people you read on line.
Durian's not bad. Really. Not good, but not bad either. But then, I do put pepper on melon, something I didn't confess to Father Mike.
I want to thank you again, Pam, for a truly exciting ride. I wonder why I never did see the 92 offramp. Don't worry, the color has returned to my knuckles, and my eyes are back in their anatomic sockets. <vvvbg>
Thank you again, Bob, for that wonderful dinner and the wine and for letting me play with your computers.
Thank you again, Alexa, for the liquid refreshment. I have since contacted all concerned agencies in California as to why there are no water fountains at San G. Beach. I am waiting to hear from Governer Wilson. I'll let you know what he has to say.
Penni and ML, it was great meeting you, and I hope you can make it to the Berkeley bash.
Dale and Kathie, it was great to meet you and the true brains, Ginger, behind SI. I never would have guessed.
Alex and LS, I enjoyed our interesting conversation and the nonstop laughs.
Brad, Jeff, and Jill, thanx so much for coming and for the tee-shirts, the first tee-shirt I ever felt sophisticated wearing. Hope you guys can make it to Berkeley, and we won't ask you to bring tee-shirts.
And yes, as it stands now, I'm up for the Berkeley bash and am looking forward to it in a big way. Pam, are you heading up this shindig? Would you like me to drive this time? I didn't think so. <another vvvbg>
Hope to see everybody plus more SIers in Berkeley.
