I don't know if this one was posted here, but I read about a description of a response by a salesman to a question in a computer store as to who AMD was: Q: Who is AMD? A: They're a division of Intel. Q: What do they make? A: They make CPU chips, like the main company, but Intel saves the best ones for their name and puts the name AMD on the crappier ones. Honest!
