What ever happened to ESST's announced plan to repurchase shares? Or do market conditions NEVER warrant rewarding shareholders?

I have a feeling that perhaps the uncertainty in ESST's ecomonic forecasting may have caused management to look to conserve cash since the June 6, 2001 press release. As a shareholder, I would prefer they focus on growing their business presently and building margins, not buying back shares in an otherwise choppy market.
