It seems to me that to overascribe traits on a racial basis (for example, that Jews are innately better with numbers, or Chinese are innately inscrutable) is racist, even when one does not go out of one's way to make racial rankings, insofar as the potential for rankings is implicit, depending upon one's values. But I will not belabor it......
