Banerji agreed that there is a symmetry between the depth of a recession and the strength of a recovery - so, with the recession having been shallow, the recovery is expected to be lackluster. they'll likely be the first to report the double dip too<g>... interesting to note that of the 6 recessions since the late 50's, five of them have been of the "double dip" variety... and the period from 1973-1975 witnessed a "triple dip".
