Hi Eric, I have been suspecting something going on in the mobile sector. Mainly that delays tactics of vendors (jockeying for posítion) are affecting deployment of UMTS/3G much more than other factors (financial, non-availability of terminals, ROI, network sharing issues etc, etc- This has a lot to do with the time scale UMTS/3G deployment and it is not being mentioned! The "Keep MSFT away from 'our' cake" is the most visible example of what I'm saying. A Forum here, a .org there, a consortium over there... This is creating a lot of insecurity noise and smoke screen. I think if some guys are afraid, they have a lot of reasons to be.
