Tom, great thread and congratulations on the BTTT system. I am new to the short term trading seen and chart reading. I stumbled across your thread about a month ago and have been following it/hooked on it ever since. I have been trading stocks/mutual funds for the past 15 years and now have the time available to spend on "short term trades".

I have a broker question for you, or anyone else on the thread. I have been using Fidelity most of the time for long-term trades. However, I made approximately 60 trades last quarter and at $15 bucks a pop, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to realize I am spending too much on trades.

Do you use IB for all your trades? I have been reading up on IB and wander if the rates are too good to be true? What’s the catch? Do you have to buy “extra services” from them (i.e. real time quotes, level 2, etc?)? What are you average commission cost per trade using IB?

Thanks in advance for your help, and look forward to contributing to the thread anyway I can as soon as I get a handle on the BTTT system.

Jeff
