Examples of Stocks We're Looking For ---- LET's FIND 'EM!

Note - If you feel uncomfortable posting publicly and they meet the criteria of stocks we like, PM them to me and I will try to analyze them ASAP and post them on the thread for everyone after PM-ing back to you first. Then others can express their views that know T/A. The goal is to create a watch list with buy-sell points.

1) Patterned Stocks
These stocks are ones that seem to trade in a defined trading range. Watch for sell volume pickup near the top and buy volume pickup near the bottom of the range. If the stocks have a reasonable PE, they are usually pretty low risk. Bollinger band ranges are also useful buy-sell points.

2) Strong Relative Strength Stocks
These often can be bought when they retrace to the 5 or 20 day Moving Average as long as fundamental remain intact. Often these stocks get overextended and usualy pull back to the 20 or 50 day SMA and bounce back, especially if the market is favorable.

3) Special Situation Stocks
These are stocks that have perhaps been beaten down (on an overreaction) or have been basing above major support for awhile and have a major news event like a big contract or earnings that show the stock is ready to turn around.

EXAMPLE - HAL

Notice how this stock is now above the 20 day M.A. on heavy volume.
