So, what help was (or could be) expected of Hussein by Arafat ????

So far, Saddam Hussein has been suporting the intifada monetarily; he pays money to the families of suicide bombers. I don't know how much he has been giving Arafat or Hamas directly or how active his agents have been in PA territory. Debka has dropped a few hints about them but I've never seen any reports corroborated in the mainstream press.

It would be strange bedfellows indeed if Arafat succeeded in getting help from Iraq and Iran simultaneously.
